The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. It is often when adolescents follow in the paths of their parents. They try to live up to the shadows their parents cast. As heroes and villains from many different tales live their lives, many opt to settle down and eventually have children. Despite this however, villains were still a threat and were exiled along with their families to live on an island known as the Badland. The heroes and their families populate a happy town in the mainlands.

 

As the years passed, it was questioned whether it was fair to allow the kin of the villains to live their lives exiled away on the island. And so the Second Chance Teenager Program was established. The program allows the children of the Island to come live in in the mainlands and have a chance to start a new life. There, the children will go to Kingdom Academy along with the other residents, and coexist with them.

 

You are an adolescent. You may be the child of a hero, or a villain. No matter what, the apple may not fall far from the tree… But you still have your own choices to make. And your own path to follow.

 

Rules:

You may claim two pairings as your own for your characters. (ReplikuxNamine: one pairing, XionxRoxas second pairing)

You may also have sibling characters with other roleplayers. You must ask permission and if they say no it's no. You may also offer to ‘share’ your pairings with other people so that they may have siblings with you characters.

You may have twins.

You may control the characters of the pairing you claimed (the parents) if you have a roleplayer who controls a sibling of the pairing you may allow them to control one parent or both parents.

Pairings must be at least somewhat practical and/or make sense. Pooh Bear cannot be with Anna from Frozen.

All Disney properties are allowed, including Disney animations such as American Dragon, etc.

No live action sitcoms from Disney Channel allowed.

All Kingdom Hearts characters allowed, including Final Fantasy characters featured in KH.

As for Final Fantasy characters, please use well known iconic Final Fantasy characters. Characters in the same game as characters featured in KH definitely allowed.

No Yaoi or Yuri pairings, sorry. Only exception to this if it's actually cannon or is at least hinted at.

RPN rules obviously apply.

No God-Modding. You gotta lose sometime!
No killing characters or critically injuring them without permission.

No controlling other characters without permission.

Try to have at least five lines in a post. (It’s okay to have less here and there)

Abilities/Powers: Enjoys magic, especially a mixture of light and dark magic. Dawn also enjoys the art of sword fighting.

Personality: Dawn is a smart young woman. She’s a hard worker who would do anything do her friends and family. She also has a rather strong competitive side at times. She always looks out for others, quickly diffusing any situation that would’ve resolved into a fight. Despite this, she struggles showing her emotions and telling others how she feels. When pushed enough, Dawn will show her rage.

Bio: Kairi became pregnant with Dawn during a deep but very brief relationship with Riku. During her pregnancy, Kairi was attacked, causing Riku to fall into darkness due to his rage. Due to shame of still having Ansem holding his heart even all these years, as well as going on hard missions in other worlds to protect his home, Riku went on his own journey. As a result, Dawn grew up not knowing her father. She grew up with Sora as his father figure, as Sora and Kairi got together before she was born. Dawn has since lived a somewhat happy life, working hard in her studies. Despite this, deep down she questions why her father truly left her.

Abilities/Powers: Casual elemental magic, Two Become One, casual light and dark abilities.

Personality: Dexter has much of his father’s aggressiveness and short temper when threatened. Because of this he will often get into fights with his father all the time. Deep down however, he is very insecure and inherits much of his mother’s softness and courage to do whatever it is that's right. As a result he will not tolerate bullying of any kind, but he often fails to defend himself.

Bio: Dexter grew up in Fatefaire and as a result he doesn't know much about the Forgotten Isle except for what he has heard about it. He often gets aggravated at how happy and bubbly some people act around him. Because of this he gained an interest in the Forgotten Isle, because he believes that there's more to the island than what he was told. Dexter’s relationship with his father is somewhat strained, as their temper do not mix well. Despite this, he deeply loves his family and will do whatever it takes to protect them.

Abilities/Powers: Trained by Maleficent, he is capable of performing a wide variety of magic. Some of these include: Minimum distance teleportation, use and creation of dark magic, and control of darkness. Like his mother, in his most desperate of times, he is able to transform into a large dragon, but is unable to actually control himself when he does, making him extremely dangerous. He uses a magic staff which he carries with him everywhere. He is surprisingly brilliant when it comes to potion making. Whether good or bad ones.

Personality: Confident, playful and mischievous, he is always on the move and is rarely quiet, if ever. He wants to be everyone's friends and will do pranks and mischief using his magic, enjoying the attention he gets from people. At times, he can come to be obnoxious, and will retaliate at people who are mean to him or his friends. He sometimes doesn't get the gravity of the effect that his magic can cause, and when he does, he sometimes just wishes to ignore it.

Bio: Maverik, born to be a prodigy, has always been the definition of a rebel, forged out of living with his mother, Maleficent. Since his birth, Maleficent had many plans for him. She chose his studies, his hobbies, and was insistent on the vigorous magic training he was forced to go through. As he grew, Maverik began to lash out at his mother, causing trouble just to spite her. Do the dishes? How about use them for shooting practice. Clean your room? Draw on the wall. Despite by all means able to master and survive the training his mother had for him, he always made sure that he used it in a way that it would annoy her. When he heard of the program, he was quick to sign up. Anything to get away from his mother, this wretched boring place, and start a new adventure! Anything's possible in the mainland, after all. At least, that's what he's heard. Whether the mainland is ready for him, however, is a whole different matter.

That’s fine. I was thinking perhaps Sora could be the man in charge this time? It would be interesting, especially since Sora was the main hero. He doesn’t have to be fully in charge persay, since it could be a community effort. The moogle could certainly be an advisor however, and quite an annoying one to Lightning at that.

Having Sora taking a leadership role I think fits. He's not the brightest bulb, but I think he'd do well in the role. Heh, and Moogle can be the Assistant Major who actually does the paper work.

I think the hardest part, for me at least, is trying to figure out what my characters are doing at this point, as there's not really anything important for them to do. I also feel less motivated to post, I think, because we've already RP'd this portion before, and thus it is of less interest to me. This is my own fault, and I apologize; I think that's been my hangup, though.

 

Anyhow, I think it's awesome if you choose to turn this into a fan-fic, and I'd be honored if you used any of my characters.
