A "Logical" Fox property I think can fit in KH is Lord of the Rings.

I think because of how dark and violent it is, it would not make it. Plus, we have no clue about the rights of J.R.R Tolkien so that could end up being a hassle.

While I would totally welcome the idea of The Lord Of The Rings in Kingdom Hearts, isn't the franchise owned by Warner Bros. and not Fox? Unless Fox bought the rights to the franchise at some point that I didn't know...

But anyways, as a lifelong fan of The Lord Of The Rings, I agree that the franchise could definitely fit with Kingdom Hearts, as the themes of light and darkness and friendship are akin to both franchises! It'd be interesting seeing Sora and the gang interacting with the likes of Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli! And in a sense, they're actually quite similar! Both Sora and Aragorn are people that have selfless hearts for others, Goofy and Legolas are both wise, and Donald and Gimli are both short tempered! xD

Avatar could also work, given the proper care. Avatar is actually Fox material, so yeah!

Oh true. To be fair i forgot Warner brothers and Fox are 2 separate companies lol. But i do think it would be an interesting concept!

I'm always a bit conflicted about franchises which are rather large on their own. Yes, it's an amazing franchise and it certainly has concepts that would suit KH, but since it would likely be based on the movies, it'll be really hard fo press all that content into one world. If they would only use one movie per game, it might leave people dissatisfied that the story isn't really concluded.

Another thing is that the franchise itself might not actually fit the rather bright environment of KH. Thinking back on Pirates of the Caribbean or Tron Legacy and their corresponding worlds in KH, the style clashed a lot in my opinion, although the worlds themselves looked good. Still, it's undeniable that the characters looked immensely out of place.

What could also be a problem is the atmosphere. Lord of the Rings, while certainly having its share of light moments, is darker in nature than any other world. There's a lot of bloodshed, the topics tend to be mature and while KH isn't really targeted at children of 6 years+ anymore, the content does differ from Lord of the Rings quite a bit, despite its similarities. The fantastical creatures alone might not fit the general look of KH.

It does sound appealing, but I have my reservations about live action movies, especially when they're this dark and vast in comparison to what we usually see in KH from another world. (Apart from not being part of the possible roster anyway.)

I also have the feeling that people who want these rather large franchises might end up being disappointed in the end. Even with worlds apparently being larger now, there is no way they can put the complexity of the movies, much less books, within one world and still make it relevant to the original plot of KH where Sora and Co. aren't a nice accessory. After all, that's what a lot of people complained about in KH2,that we mostly replayed the movies without really pushing the original story forward.

Being a bit of a film buff, I can't even imagine how you forgot that.
