    Driving, actually. When I was a kid, we lived a ways away from the family, so we would spend a good chunk of our Christmas driving to go to their houses, to the point where I not only don't mind the drive but am much happier doing it.

    For me, what gets me into the Christmas spirit is the way that people change during this festive time. It's like for one moment, the world stops being chaotic and depressing, for a few precious moments, everything has this serene and calm feel to it. The nice, cool winter chill, the family gatherings, the Christmas movies, simply enjoying the ambiance...it really gets one thinking and one feels all the merrier and jolly with the way the Christmas spirit just makes the world a much more beautiful place! :)
