We've had a lot of Kingdom Hearts news in the past 2 days. If you've been following them on twitter or youtube, you've probably heard people say that Kingdom Hearts III's release date would be announced at E3 2018. Well, I wanted to let everyone know that this has NOT been confirmed. The tweet people were referring to when talking about the release date announcement was actually from a Square Enix fan account and whoever tweeted this was speculating about the release date announcement not confirming it. The truth is no information concerning the release date was discussed at the D23 Fan Event which is why bigger gaming news networks such as IGN and Playstation Access have not mentioned that information. It also explains why official Square Enix twitter accounts do not mention this information. Now that you have this information, I ask that you spread the word as big KH Youtubers, like the X-Keepers (safe Soraalam1), have been unintentionally misinforming the community which is bound to 'cause complaints and disappointment later in the year.

As you can see, it comes from a fan. The account's name translates to Square Enix Bahamut Mackerel.

That being said, Square could still decide to reveal the release date at E3 2018. Just be aware that it's not confirmed.

I mean I rarely ever take anything those guys say seriously anyway. And when Skyward did say that, I did feel a little skeptical. Guess that feeling paid off. Still, it does seem like a likely time and place to announce a release date, so I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up happening anyway. Sometimes people just make very good guesses, the world is weird like that.

Square said that they will announce all the dates for their major game for the year between april and the E3, so I'm sure that it will happen, we don't need a confirmation, but yes, it's important that we spread the word

It's still pretty obvious that we'll get the release date on E3, so I'm not concerned at all

Oh I forgot about that. So It’s very likely that the release date will be revealed at E3 (unless they reveal it before which I don’t expect to happen). Still, I don’t like it when misinformation is being spread. People should double check their sources before reporting news and if they made a mistake, they should at least try to correct it.
