First of all, welcome to the forums! Good to see a passionate Kingdom Hearts fan looking to make a presentation of the series for your college project! That's just awesome of you! :')

Okay then, I shall help by answering your questions!

  1. Well, when I was introduced to Kingdom Hearts, unconsciously it was because I had seen my cousin playing the first game. But when I asked full on what the game was about was when I went to Sam's Club to pick a game out as a present for Christmas! I saw Kingdom Hearts II, and the clerk told me what the game was about, but that I probably wouldn't understand some things if I hadn't played the first one! Even so, I wanted Mom to get me the game, and that was how I was introduced into the series! KHII was my first game! :)
  2. I continue to play the Kingdom Hearts series, because to me, it's something that I've grown up with since I was 11 years old! I've been a fan of the series for 12 years, so I have an emotional attachment to it, and it means a lot to me, it's important to my life and how I am as a person, ya know? And well, seeing how the story progresses for this series is like watching an amazing anime or reading a riveting book series! So yeah, it's because of this that I continue to play the games, I just love them to death! :D
  3. I actually have three favorite entries, which would be Kingdom Hearts II, Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance! But for the purpose of this question, I'll go with Kingdom Hearts II! Not only was it my first KH game that opened my eyes to the franchise, but when I got more invested into the series, I realized that this game is a major turning point in the series, as this is the game that expanded upon the mythos of the Kingdom Hearts Universe and the game really did a lot of world building and character development! It's robust and longer than the first Kingdom Hearts, and it has many worlds which are my favorites! This game is truly something else!
  4. Favorite world? Dang, that's a hard one, since I have a number of favorite worlds in this series! I'm bad at having to choose just one out of something! Okay, but out of all the ones I love, I would have to say Port Royal! I love the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, so having the characters from that film appear in Kingdom Hearts was something amazing, and I loved Port Royal and still love it, hoping that it makes a return in Kingdom Hearts III! Who doesn't love the fact that Jack Sparrow gets to fight alongside Donald and Goofy? :3
  5. As for your final question, what I'm looking forward to most in the next installment, which is Kingdom Hearts III, is to see the conclusion of the epic Xehanort Saga that started so long ago with the first Kingdom Hearts, 16 years ago! Seeing all the character development and the story build and hype up to the point that we are in this crossroads is unreal and just amazing to me! I've followed the development of this game closely, and I'm really looking forward to closing this chapter in the Kingdom Hearts series so that then, we can move to the next saga when it comes! :D

Hope these questions helped, and good luck with your project! Go at it and surpass your limits, plus ultra style! :D

Now then, as with all newcomers, my pet bunny here shall devour your soul! :3

1. I was introduced to it by watching let's plays of DDD around it's release and watching the first teaser for KH3 at the time. After that, I looked for every piece of information regarding the series and eventually I got to play the games.

2. I continue to play it because it's a fun series with fast and fun gameplay, likable characters, the cool aspect of being a crossover with Disney and it's decent, albeit flawed story. It makes me smile and because I really want to follow this story to the end.

3. I don't really have a favorite, but if I had to mention one it would be the first game. I think it's the one game where every aspect of it felt right and it did a good job at introducing the world (Worlds?) and some of the main characters. It's plot is simple but very well done IMO, and I give it some bonus points for lacking the convoluted nature of some of the later games. While it lacks some of the special gimmicks or additions the other games have, it's gameplay still manages to be tight and challenging but also easy to learn and enjoyable.

4. My favorite would be either Deep Jungle from KH1 or Twilight Town from KH2. I like Deep Jungle for it's platforming and verticality and for being based on a property that has only been featured once in the entire series, and I love Twilight Town for it's unique setting and open areas (It might be my favorite of the original worlds in the series)

5. To be honest, my one hope is that KH3 manages to be a game that fixes and improves on the problems some of the recent games had, delivers gameplay that mixes the best elements of KH2 and the other games to create an engaging experience and for it to have a well-written story that's not filled with pointless retcons or twists and delivers a satisfying conclusion to the Dark Seeker Saga.

Welcome to the site, BTW. Hope I helped  <3

Hello friendo!

So, I guess I first got into Kingdom Hearts when Days came out, so I must have been like, what, 10? Something like that, anyways I saw an ad on tv for this DS game that had amazing graphics and the music blew me away. After that I searched it up and was constantly looking up info and theories about the game, and a couple years later I got KH2, thinking it was Days.

Of course having completely bypassed the first two I was bare confused, but I got over it and I've been hooked ever since.

As for growing up with Kingdom Hearts, I have to say I never really noticed it. It was just always there, and I feel like finishing KH3 would be a great send-off to my childhood. Of course, I'm not really a child anymore, and it's weird to think that when I started playing Sora was years ahead of me. Now, I'm older than Riku.

It's like wuuuuut.

My favourite game.... It's always a toss up between BBS and 2, but for this I'm going with BBS. I think it's because I played it when I was a lot older, and the story was more mature (?) then previous games that got me invested into the characters.

Favourite world would have to be Twilight Town, it has that nostalgic feel to it. And I love playing as Roxas.

As for my hopes for KH3, I just really want there to be more Final Fantasy characters. I think the way they interacted in KH2 has been the best in the whole series, and I really want the Hollow Bastion Radiant Garden Restoration Committee to return. It's actually been one of my big worries about the game, because we've not heard a peep from them since KH2 which was 13 years ago now! But it's not high on everyone's list of priorities, I get that.

1) My brother and niece played this game together back in 2002! Since I was 5/6 years old then I only watched them playing. But I really liked it as as kid. In 2006 my mother asked what I wanted for Christmas. Every December we get this big ass toys book and Kingdom Hearts 2 was in it! I asked the game for Christmas and I got it. It was such an experience to play the game. Back then I didn't even finished Kingdom Hearts 1 by myself and didn't know how it ended. After Kingdom Hearts 2 I dived back in Kingdom Hearts and since then I was a Huge fan of the series!

2) It's a game that I played as a kid. However I'm 20 years now and still enjoy it a lot! It's a unique kind of story which that growth so much and keep growing! It's the only game franchise that I keep checking every day if there is news about it!

3) Kingdom Hearts II, this game has such a special place in my heart. The characters are so interesting that keeps me wanting to see more of them. The game has so many memorable moments like; the Roxas story, when Hollow bastion was under attack, the end game was so epic! lots of fights, and the ending felt so perfect!

4) Hmm, I think I would have to with Twilight Town. The world is so beautiful. A place i would like to live in! All the characters are really great and hope to see more of them!

5) I really hope that Kingdom Hearts 3 will focus a lot on some original story. The stories of the original worlds (Traverse Town, Hollow Bastion, Twilight Town and etc) are so great. I enjoy them more than the Disney worlds. So I hope their original stories will be even bigger than before!
I'm also hoping that a lot of unanswered questions will be answered in Kingdom Hearts III

Sure, I'll help out.

1. I was first introduced to Kingdom Hearts when I was 10 years old in September of 2002, when I saw a TV commercial for the very first game in the series. I went to tell my mom I wanted it for Christmas and three months later I found it under the Christmas tree. It's been one of my favourite series of all time ever since.

2. Kingdom Hearts was the first PS2 game that was ever truly mine, and the first PS2 game that I ever played to completion. Even my mom played the game and thoroughly enjoyed it. As a result, I have a ton of nostalgic love for the series as a whole. I also love the story and characters, and I am always impressed by how well they're able to merge the Disney and Final Fantasy elements.

3. My favourite game in the series is Birth by Sleep. I love this entry because it was the first game in the series to focus on characters other than Sora, Riku and Kairi, and because it heavily expanded on the story and lore of the series. It also introduced some new and interesting characters.

4. This is a tough one. There are a lot of worlds that I absolutely love, but I would probably have to say either The World That Never Was or the Land of Departure. I love the World That Never Was because I find it has a really cool aesthetic and some pretty sad/memorable scenes happen there, not to mention the final battle of both KHII and KH3D. As for the Land of Departure, I love this world because it was the first time we got to see what the training of a keyblade master looks like. I also love the music of this world, which I know is kind of a silly reason but I just love the sense of grandeur and epicness.

5. I'm excited to see how the Xehanort saga will come to a close, and also where the series will go afterwards. I'm looking forward to seeing how the combat improves and changes over time, and how the characters grow and evolve. I'm also hoping for more worlds based on older Disney films. I love most of the newer Disney films, save for a few that I won't name here, but there are so many older films that would make great worlds to explore and enjoy.

I hope this is enough, but if you want more info feel free to message me!
