October 27, 201015 yr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yna9FIlV03Y&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNFGzxUXMog&feature=related Here ya go kamy these usualy help me when I can't sleep
October 27, 201015 yr Listen to calm music before going to bed & don't drink soda or eat candy; that'll only make you hyper, therefore, you cannot go to sleep. If those simple solutions don't help, then I do recommend you go to the doctor. There are sleeping disorders that exist that you may possibly have, if you even have the symptoms. Going to the doctor will affirm if you do have a sleeping disorder or you simply cannot go to sleep because of what you do before going to bed.
October 27, 201015 yr ^ You never know. They're actually fairly common. Advice-wise, though, I usually go to bed with my television on or a softer radio channel on. It bugs some people, but I like having something to listen to, and the soft light from the movie is soothing to me. You could try that. (:
October 28, 201015 yr You should probably see a doctor or something by now. (As Jenny said) You don't need to keep going on without any sleep. Its unhealthy for you.
October 28, 201015 yr Author yeah i know. i was planning on telling my theripist about this but i haven't seen her since August. And i've told my dad but he hasn't done anything
October 30, 201015 yr Try arranging an appointment with your therapist. Also, before going to sleep, turn on soft music. That always works with me
October 30, 201015 yr ^ What heartless said ^ While I was sick usually I played The other promise on my ZUNE (Microsoft IPOD) and I usually drifted to sleep quickly.
October 30, 201015 yr Stay up 24 hours and in that 24 hours do something very tiring like a sport or whatever gets your heart rate going.
October 30, 201015 yr Sounds like you have a bit of insomnia but a lot of teenagers get it. I'd suggest turning on a fan that makes some soothing sound and turn off all lights and get some soft blankets and wrap yourself in them. If you hate complete darkness then just pop in your favorite movie into a DVD player or something and set the volume on low or all the way down and just watch it for a bit and feel relaxed. Another suggestion is sleep aid medication, like Tylenol PM or Advil PM something that is safe, but ask your therapist, doctor, or parents first before taking them. Hope you get some good sleep!
October 30, 201015 yr Author again thanks guys i tried again what some of you guys said last night but again it didn't work. and instead of getting my dad to take me to the doctors im gonna ask my mom to do it.
