Beside that Xehanort never really showed any interest in Aqua in Birth By Sleep (he had his perverted eyes on young teenage boys afterall) but it could just be a phantom or a special kind of heartless or a manifistation of Mickey's greatest fear for all we know.

They only reason why people call her a 13th seeker of darkness is because of her eyes… And her dialoge BUT we don't know what happened there we don't know what happened prior to the confrontation so I'm not believing anything untill Nomura confirms it HIMSELF on a stream or just in a video interview or untill the game releases.

It can’t be an illusion. Mickey and Riku are wearing those magical clothes that should shield them form any kind of darkness harm.

 

Ansem TW had a Black Coat (for the same purpose) during Blank Points, yet the Dark Realm was still able sap many of his memories (courtesy of him no longer having the necessary anger to keep them intact).

 

Just because it can't actually harm you doesn't mean it can't still screw with you.
