No, its just another spin off idea that doesnt need to be there. (Which isnt to say that BBS, Days, and Coded dont need to be there, i think they are perfectly necessary to move on with the story.)

Kingdom Hearts 3D isn't a spin off. Its a main game like KH1, and KH2. Nomura already said its not a side game or spin off but that its a main game as I said above. And some consider BbS a main game.

You have to admit, the dual screen flashbacks were pretty cool.

Especially the ones where you fight as Sora and Roxas.

Oh no, not the dual screen flashbacks in game, but real life flashbacks of playing Days. I didn't like Days or Xion
