Vanitas' Plan B? *Minor BBS Spoilers*

Posted

So, after Aqua has defeated Vanitas in Radiant Garden, he mentioned something about her being his Plan B. Does anyone else think he was planning on merging with Aqua if Ven wasn't strong enough? I even Googled it and found a pic of what it might have looked like:

When Vanitas said that he had a plan be he did refer to Aqua. If Ventus wasn't strong enough for him to merge with him to form the X-Blade then he would go and use Aqua instead. So yes, he did meant Aqua.

I do believe it was confirmed she was the plan b. Hopefully he/she left his/her mask on. It wouldn't be the fist girl that is a man or vice vera. *cough* xion *cough*... And I believe she would have been called Vaquatas.

I remember that! A friend of mine drew it :3

And yeah, that was obviously what he meant.

But this couldn't be accomplished unless Master Xehanort split her heart into two (It might have been one of his backup plans when he said "the seeds have already been sown" or something)

But would Vanitas even be needed then, if Master Xehanort would have to make an "evil version" of Aqua?

ya i agree with sk3. my thought on it though was she was plan b on getting ven to fight him

Aqua's essentially like Sora, who has a heart with an absolutely miniscule amount of darkness. Compared to Ven, whose darkness took up almost half of his heart, an extraction might not have been required. She has as much light as you can get without being a PoH.

picture= ewww...

name=Venaqua

makes sense, i mean, when you have the most powerful weapon in all of existence, you wouldnt mind being a tranny.

^Uh, "tranny" usually means "transvestite", and judging by the fact that Vanitas' bodysuit seems like it could be for a guy or a girl, I don't think "tranny" is the right term.

However, I don't think he'd mind having a female body, as long as he had the most powerful weapon in all of existence.

i used the wrong word, but ya i agree he wouldnt mind being in a female body since he would the x-blade

To make the x-blade, you need two hearts with equal amount of light and darkness. It had to be Ventus.

But this couldn't be accomplished unless Master Xehanort split her heart into two (It might have been one of his backup plans when he said "the seeds have already been sown" or something)

Actually, to create the X-Blade, you need to merge a heart of light and heart of darkness together during battle, the splitting of the hearts thing was just Xehanort's way of making the process easier.

So, yeah, if Ventus had gone home, Vanaqua would probably be running around after Terranort destroying stuff.

....

*shudder*

I always thought that:

Plan A was to distribute the Unversed throughout the worlds to make Ventus stronger so he could face Vanitas.

Plan B was to threaten Aqua's life to force Ventus, strong or not, to fight him... which he ended up doing.

Besides, can't Vanitas only 'possess' Ventus because he basically was him? I don't think it would work with Aqua.
