atleast KH2 had SOME form of complexity to it

There isn't many action rpgs tho

So it's understandable to me why ppl compare them on a surface level

I mean, people compare shooters all the time

Big agree with Biz on being able to disable auto jumping

It annoyed me many times

The auto jumping is just a way they dumbed down the platforming

I could just jump over an obstacle. But no, gotta do it for the player because they are too dumb to do it themselves

But I feel the golden sparky things that you just walk over are unnecessary

They are

Air slide exists

Takes away any challenge that they could face

They feel like a leftover from the design tbh, like they put it in and never really did much with it

They 100% made this game with children and noobs in mind

This was not really for the fans outside a few nods and Easter eggs

From the story to the gameplay, everything in KH3 was simplified to maximise sales

Feels to me like they had this opportunity to have big open worlds, and didn't even use them efficiently

The game Just has wall runs everywhere

Just have sparkly bits everywhere

Invisible walls directing you along the path

The best usage of large worlds would be like kh1s hidden secrets

And the level best usage would be for hub worlds

Because ideally that is where the player feels naturally inclined to return to

People seem to think KH3 level design is like kh1's

When it really isnt

Having a huge as firetruck twilight town or radiant garden as your base of operations should be a no brainer

It's just bigger KH2 with a bit more exploration

Especially monstropolis

I think the best way to illustrate it is that there's really only one path to and from a place
