Second chance is for the big hits, Once more/withstand combo is for combos

that's weird

I mean, withstand combo's description is literally the same as second chance, with the addition of combo hits

I thought it was both abilities merged into one

I was being a silly in wet Goatnort fight thinking once more would carry me through hits when I'd actually already recovered because water

are the endgame fights actually fun or are they still a confusing mix of fireworks

Well, I'd say they are fun but it can be a bit hectic. For example you're just trying to do a combo on Repliku and Xigbar is bring a brat and shooting you mid combo

Tbh you end up just being very defensive and keeping tabs on all the enemies

at least it's better than before I guess

as opposed to previously where you kinda just button mash them all to death
