Yes, and from squares pov, KH3 is no longer or shorter than any other game in the series, so it's probably justified enough to them to have that much content

When I say content I mean the plot btw pain

While we're on the whole Bob the builder criticism kick, I've been thinking over how exactly it would be best to tie up all these loose ends from 17 years ago while still keeping KH3 in a relatively similar state to the one it's in now

It is hard

But I think what would have helped a lot is for all of the exposition about previous titles to just not be a thing

So with all that gone, instead of having one or two cutscenes where we mention who is gonna be rescued, actually show how the heroes are trying to achieve this

I still maintain a radiant garden side story with Riku and mickey would have been perfect, there's a lot of untapped potential there in the first place

I certainly agree with that

Morning btw

For example, we know Mickey knows Leon, and we know Leon knows of Riku, that small interaction could have opened up a lot

Morning!

Guess what Nova, for the first time in weeks I have no school run

YAY!

phineYES

All the time in the world to improve KH3 seasalt_shinji

seasalt_shinji

can we fix it?

Uhhh sorry Bob

Idk about this one

I advocate for Riku meeting Leon etc, it would be a very neat spin on things

Yeah, I think so!

And then post game you can still go there with Sora and there's interaction

Especially as Leon and Mickey seem to know of one another well enough

Ohh that would be really neat

Not necessarily having sora go to radiant garden and instead meeting up with them on his own accord (postgame) makes a lot of sense

phineYES

Super neat spin

Yeah if they can't manage to fit it in story wise, just have it be a side thing

And that kind of thing has never really happened before

In KH I mean

But I think they could have even a tiny story, you know how? Have the gang meet up at RG instead of Mysterious tower

That would be infinitely more interesting

Not to mention kairi and axel are there so there's a reason for it

Oh actually, If I was to rearrange events, I'd have aqua be rescued after the second ring of worlds

This is my issue with saying RG isnt necessary. I can think of many ways it could be useful to the plot

And then go to radiant garden to find her armour and keyblade

Mine too

Yeah that too, it makes sense

There's a ton of unresolved threads that centre on it

And maybe Xemnas meets her ?

phineYES phineYES phineYES phineYES

YEEEEEEESSSSS

I'd love for them to explore a little deeper into Xemnas and Terra's connection

He feels a rush of emotion like he does at the end of the game haha

Rather than handwave it by saying 'Oh xigbar told xemnas"

Oh gosh that would be so cool

.........

It's not like I was asking KH3 to be amazing, but I did on some level think that it would be calling back to the whole series in small ways like this

I get it

It didn't help that KH3 was always being touted by the devs as a conclusion to this story
