I never found that a problem

Yeah platforming but in KH3s sense it's more that there are so many enemies you need a way for continuous attack and the constant stopping and starting without it, might be jarring?

I found it jarring depending on what keyblade I was using

And things can get pretty high up in 3

But that's where air stepping and the ability to start a combo again if you whiff comes into play

Unlike before if you whiff up have to hit the ground

If I used the Toy Story one with the hammer, it was pretty smooth to go from ground combo to air

But some other ones made it a bit weird with it

Being able to combo your way up to an enemy is a bit weird but to me it felt like that was playing the game wrong and I could not do it if I got better

I think you still have the lunge basically

Rather I bet it's there to make it easier for people

You can lunge from the ground sure
But after that?

yeah the lunge should be first attack only

In the end the air combat was fine as is, but just odd animation and execution wise when you look at it

you should not be able to spam attack and hit everything

I guess Sora feels like he sticks to enemies a lot here

Or he is miles away from them given how magic works in this game

I love the fact we can move with magic don't get me wrong
