So why did KH3 launch first?

That was in like 2018

I preferred talking about ball pits

With the FF7 anniversary stuff

And it was cutscenes in particular, were decently far along

SE had a launch window for KH3 very early on

Q4 2018

Actually now that I think on it I really don't understand how KH3s cutscenes weren't done before FF7Rs. At the time I thought it was because the game would get EU dubbing but it turned out to be the opposite. Makes even less sense. Anyway, I suppose we just attribute it to Square's shitty business practices.
