And the replacement they attempted in KH3 failed hard

I see them as a mixed bag, honestly

There is literally 0 defensive SCs

I liked that they were unique to each enemy

And the nobodies definitely have the best rc's

Whereas situation commands don't once react to what's on screen, they're just generic

I like some of them

But I feel the game was too reliant on them to do cool stuff and they take control away which I never much like

SCs have similar issues however

Hmm I can see the lack of player agency, it's a big issue of KH2

I like, say learn from xaldin fight

But conversely, they don't tend to clutter up the screen and you can completely play KH2 without using them

Except certain scripted ones

You have to block or dodge well to earn it
