Do I have to change this essay from deep jungle to just kh1

So it was nice for the door to initially be closed

I only know how these worlds work from repeated playthroughs. Figuring out where to go wasn't fun for me personally

Because it felt too vague and random to me

Well, Deep Jungle wasn't fun on a first playthough

Personally, the games of that generation, sonic adventure and KH1, older pokemon games, figuring out the maps and hidden secrets was great for me

But I enjoyed every subsequent world on my first try

To me it's bad but people feel differently

It's still a good design the way I see it, if you can't get on with it that's on you

If I don't have fun exploring then it's not good in my eyes

Better than kh2 worlds

DDD, 0.2 and 3 were the only games where world exploration felt fun to me

DDD had the worst world exploration for me

0.2 is KH1

I lovvvvvveeeddd it

There was barely any interactable objects and few puzzles

Oh, 0.2 is so great

Sadly KH3 toned down the puzzle solving aspect

And it was mostly just walking from place to place

If I were to play kh1 for my first time today, I would hate it most likely

I guess this is why I like Hollow Bastion so much, the puzzles really make you feel like you're making your way through a place you aren't supposed to be in
