I don't find them annoying at all

World of Chaos is just lasers galore without openings in the last phase which invites Ether spam, and Dragon Xemnas is just a stupid gimmicky minigame that serves as filler to the actual meat of the fight.

Sure, it's very cool and looks epic, but I'd rather not have that phase because it starts to get really frustrating in subsequent playthroughs

I think the first playthrough is most important, taking them out means taking out something interesting for the original experience

I found it mostly frustrating on my first playthrough as well

And although the Xemnas one was easier, it wasn't that great to play

World of Chaos isn't even a gimmick I suppose it's just a normal fight but flying and big

I mean from a gameplay perspective they don't test your abilities properly but that's the secret bosses job, the final bosses job is

HYPE HYPE HYPE

and KH1/2 even BBS although that's a more emotional hype does it very well

It is hype flying on a magic motorbike and shooting down a big dragon

No one is talking about testing your abilities tho, just the enjoyment of the giant bosses

I would have thought that enjoyment = good boss

But they don't enjoy them

I enjoy BBS, doesn't mean it's a good game

Comes down to preference if you like the giant bosses, but just because some don't I don't think it shouldn't ever be there for those of us who do

Boss rushes are cool, but I think one big ship phase is fun too. Its about the style and spectacle imo

ehh, if they didn't develop it it's mostly because they didn't want it.

Anyway kh2 didn't make you fight against a big ship

It had a big ship in it tho
