I mean, they made a point of saying that all the old highways between the world's were closed. And then the whole thing with "May your heart be your guiding key." That Goofy says, Suddenly Sora is calling out to Herc with his heart, and there's a portal??? I had originally joked about them just launching themselves into a mysterious portal where they didn't know went, but then they seemed to not have any consequences, so I dismissed it.
