I was personally a bigger fan of Jason Griffiths sonic voice

I sad too

Especially in games like unleashed and black night

Black Knight is definitely the high point for Jason griffiths

But I think Drummond captured sonics laidback attitude from day 1

Whereas it took Griffiths till his last game pretty much to perfect it

I mean it didn't have to be his last game, to me they could've kept him as their main sonic VA but they just didn't

4kids went under that year

Because of a change in studios

So sega couldn't deal with them anymore as they didn't exist as a company

Yeah they could have kept them on but they stupidly didn't

Ryan Drummond was brought back to audition for generations I'm pretty sure, but I think sega apparently said they'd keep his pay the same as before or something?

The bigger issue about Jason's reason was Sega that same year also was moving their studio from New York to California

I just don't, he's so disinterested, he could be a good sonic but he just doesn't get the character at all

Well Rogers voice just doesn't really fit sonic is the problem

His voice is naturally too deep for sonic I think
