I'm not invested in a lot of playstation only franchises

Their western stuff is what I don't care for mainly

western devs need to stop doing aaa movies

It's why I don't care about Uncharted, the last of us, etc. They don't really feel like games to me

The stigma that PS exclusives are just movies needs to go. Yeah, Uncharted and The Last of Us are more of that style but they are just very linear games that's more about the story. God of War on the other hand is more Metroidvania type of game with lots of backtracking and some really challenging extra bosses that tells a high quality story along with it, and then you have Horizon that's an actual open world game. Only thing these games have in common is the "realistic" art style and that's about it. If that is what qualifies as a "movie" then it just needs to go

What's the real difference between FFX and uncharted? Both are linear as firetruck

I just don't really care for the western ps exclusives really. I kinda liked horizon. Thought god of war was pretty meh. But yeah you're right

It's completely fair if you don't like them, not gonna judge you on that. But there are people out there who just says "it's a movie" and ignores them completely

You can make an argument of that for last of us and uncharted. God of war and horizon are too free roaming to be considered that

Tbh I think death stranding seems like it's the worst offender of the "movie" thing

Death Stranding isn't out yet, so can't judge much on that. Although based off of the TGS gameplay it seems to be open world-ish

There's this rumor of Nintendo making a stay at home Switch that's far stronger than the current model. I'm more invested in that tbh

I think the platforming/puzzle elements are pretty decent too
