No.. he’s actually legitimately referenced several times in current canon

they are all considered "legends"

like the Mandalorian war that REVAN FOUGHT IN was referenced in rebels.. but he was never fully mentioned.. so Revan is still TECHNICALLY a legend. he has never been directly referenced

but thrawn straight up was a main character in rebels thank god
