I might be mixing stories up now

I love Knightfall too, its one of my favorites

Its one of the few things that shows banes intelligence

Bane is not supposed to be this roided out monster most of the time, hes this cold, calculating leader in batman: Knightfall and doesnt rely on Venom until he has to

and eventually he becomes addicted to it

Often he will get off of Venom for some time and when he does his intelligence shines through

Like one thing I love about Knightfall is the setup, Bane doesnt just attack Bruce head on

Xylek, you can't just leave people hanging after saying that

Bane first finds out Batmans identity, finds out everything about Bruce wayne, sends dozens of gangs and thugs to wear Bruce down physically and psychologically before finally breaking into Wayne manor and breaking his back

He knows he cant win in a head to head fight, and so he realizes he has to wait until Batman is at his weakest to truly defeat him

Strange how easily he can get past the security, though.

I imagine there is heavy surveillance in the manor.

At that point bane already had like an army working for him so he really couldnt be stopped even by security

Knightfall goes out of its way to show how Batmans world can be torn apart by tactical strategy

Its only when Azreal takes on the batsuit that he can defeat bane, because of his more brutal and violent approach to solving these problems

It's different when you add in an army in there. I just envisioned him attempting to sneak in, which is difficult considering how bulky, hardheaded, and bruteforce he is.

Oh he didnt use the army to break in

and batman was out, so he actually used his break in to lure batman back to wayne manor to finally defeat him

i think it was an early form of venom or something
