Kh3 wasn't a bad game

Where the basic pieces of the puzzle are there but they never come together in order to create a single cohesive experience.

Nah, I'm not talking about quality.

I'm talking about the way the game comes together.

It's not hard to create a decent game, but it's very hard to create a good* game, and it's exponentially harder to create a *great one.

I would argue pokemon has been decent for six years now

If your individual pieces are great but you can't make then fit into a cohesive unit, the end product will be underwhelming.

Ala the KH3 problem.
