Like, if you have a strong formula stick to it and improve

Don't start breakdancing on your trilogy

That's because 1 sets the stage, 2 refines the formula, and 3 branches out and does something different, usually.

Crash 3 is great

I find it funny that Sega does both Yakuza and Sonic, when both have completely different levels of effort

I mean yeah the 3s are often different
