Im very much enjoying playing it

platformers are nice because Sonic and Mario set the bar/generic formula and everything else ever improves on it

I.e Banjo/Rachet&Clank/Jack and Daxter/ Sly back in the day

with now A Hat in Time, Yooka Laylee (and it's sequel) and Celeste just killing it and making amazing experiences

not saying that Sonic and Mario are bad or anything

phineYES

Tfw u get the vhs player working

I really need to find a way to convert these tapes to dvd

you can amazon yourself a converter! my dad and i recently used one to digitize old vhs tapes

the unfortunate part is that some of the film went through corrosion so a lot of the tapes were corrupted

but if you use the converter right, you can hook it up to OBS to fine tune the quality of the VHS tape and make it look a good mount better

I should probably digitalize my VHS tapes as well, or else we'll end up losing childhood memories.... :/

And yeah Alex, same

I was just gonna use a dvd recorder and do it that way

we wanted to see if we could upscale our videos and just keep everything on a harddrive/could

How does the converter work?

?

hadesthink

I really hate the Switch for keeping the timer up while in Sleep Mode

I really hope this wasn't an important video

I have 116 hours on Cyber Sleuth now thanks to that when I actually have like 12 hours

ah that's no bueno

Also jeez

What happened to that

Lemme try rewinding it, hopefully at least some of it is ok

Oh God its making a terrible sound

Still not as bad as the PS4 heh

essence thank God for modern technology, this is taking a decade to rewind

> How does the converter work

so basically it takes in the video signal from the VHS player and within the converter converts it into a digital signal to the best of it's ability by reading in, as far as im aware, various values of the tape

since you now have a digital signal coming into your computer, you can use a recording software of your choice and send that signal into that software for you to record. This doesnt mean you can make 1080p60FPS vhs tapes lol, but you can use digital enhancements to make the colors digitally nicer and such

as well as set location, quality, and other fun perks of digital recordings

additionally you can try recording in flv and have it so you dont have to record the whole tape in one sitting, but it's nice to do cause you can watch the tape as you record it then

I know we could type out messages on the old vhs cameras

Right, so you're basically recording it off the computer?

Hypercam style?
