See, the fun part of rereading is remembering details that seem useless at first but turn out to be useful somewhat later down the line

One of my goals in this rereading adventure is trying to memorize as many names and facts as possible

I noticed it already in Romance Dawn

The way Shanks' crew finds out about Luffy having eaten the Gomu Gomu no Mi is better done in the anime imo

In the manga it's out of nowhere, Shanks pulls Luffy by the arm and it stretches and they're like "whaaaaaat"

In the anime they see Luffy actually eating the fruit

And the comedy part is funnier with Shanks holding him by the legs and him stretching and bumping his head on the floor

You actually see him eating it in the manga too

But the manga doesn't make a big deal of it

Somehow I missed that

It's just something luffy has in his hands and then the explanation comes out right after haha
