One problem with Trails is that it honestly tries too hard sometimes. It's an example of writing some things super well, but failing to give other elements of the story that same quality

probably why i didnt mind Astral Chain being really generic in plot

it felt like you were doing something each chapter even if in the whole it just kinda went with it
