I mean, it's far from anything amazing that's for sure

I got it on release week. I was pretty excited since everyone was saying how pog it is and there were high ass ratings across the board

then when I played it, I just couldn't find any degree of enjoyment in it

I got pretty sad

I will say my outlook on it has gone down over time, but I still give it a 5.5/6 out of 10

It's got good looks and a cool concept of you being a cop

And voice acting also oof

i actually didn't think the voice acting was bad

I like the theme of astral chain. My main problem is how generic the main story is and the game failed pretty hard regarding the silent protagonist

idk, it was a weird feeling for me. It was the first time I've felt like

Everyone else was great

a game was giving too much dialogue

and too much story

with nothing in it

like all those times you're at the base

and everyone has a fair amount of stuff to say just felt like a chore to listen to, haven't really felt like that in a JRPG

To be fair it is a police station

Idk what fun would be there

but the actual VAs themselves weren't bad imo

i don't think that's a good reason, it's a video game and tons of silly stuff already happen like with whats her face

I hope the sequel has less story and more gameplay. And also more mechanics outside of the combat that involve Legions

was a solid scene

The last chapter in the tower was awesome

I feel like if Astral Chain would have more mechanics like in Zelda it could be awesome. Like puzzles you have to solve with the help of your legion
