@Orpheus Joshua The Don - Kyle - Josette boss fight might just be one of the absolute worst boss fights I've played in any JRPG

oh yeah you're on nightmare for your first playthrough

that probably sucks a lot

i've only done nightmare on ng+

It's bad, that's what happened

Both Don and Kyle have absurdly powerful AoE attacks that they love to spam while Josette just heals them constantly

Meanwhile Don and Josette have no magic weaknesses while having far too much health

i honestly don't remember that fight giving me trouble but I was on normal

on nightmare, bosses get buffed a shit ton

which is probably why

wow Esto caught up to me

and yeah that fight is pretty easy if you spam magic

esto's hardcore, playing on nightmare

unless you end up like me and have Estelle get petrified

if you're playing on normal mode, or even hard, magic spam solves a lot of fights

seeing as a handful of enemies implode on kill and beginning you have no quick kill options...

yeah lol

beginning of the game i remember has this trap chest

yeah that was fun

which basically just autokills you if you're on nightmare

Yeah, firetruck this

Don does almost 400 melee damage

That's not cool.

And 300 AoE

It's not very cool, that's for sure

This just feels like early game Persona 3

This game is hard but it has always felt fair

It might be worth restarting on normal esto

Don't think it's worth it to play through like that when things get harder
