the point is to get back to the past, he isnt gonna let aku simply rule the world up until jack shows up, he needs to save his family

if he doesnt, then all his struggles are for nothing

And all the struggles the other people have lived aren't gone either. Their entire existence was erased

it could go by back to the future logic

where they still exist, just different

Dude, Jack killing Aku in the past meant that he not only changed Earth but the entire universe

There were aliens walking among them like it was nothing

Killing aku in the past didn't change the small stuff

doesnt mean aliens wouldnt still come to earth in the future

The girl wouldn't live either because the whole reason she existed is because Aku made her

Well, his followers made her

It's not just a 1 year change tho, it's 1000

That's huge

The Scotsman being born in the new one isn't the same as the old Scotsman

because of a direct connection to aku as his offspring

It's an entirely different person

not if its back to the future logic

then they are technically the same person

That's the thing, we don't know

Chances are huge that the Scotsman isn't even alive

its a matter of how we look at the time travel in the series

Or that he turned into a woman instead

Or he isn't even a scotsman, he's british now

like it would be nice to see just what happened to the future after jack saved it

most likely many characters would still exist

and be shown having much better lives

With Ashi dying, it's seems to have meant to be a depressing end for them

he turned into a women in the comics

We didn't see the future again, so chances are high they all don't exist anymore

not when jack looks out from where hes standing
