Meanwhile Mulan is literally changing a firetruckton from the original work and 1998 movie, including getting rid of fan favorite aspects like Mushu and I believe Mulan's grandma as well

Well, I do think there is something to be said about fiction being historically accurate when it comes to real people and real events being portrayed, but it's on a case by case basis
