Hot take but I do miss me some filler arcs from time to time

I would genuinely take Naruto filler arcs over this endless padding

Because 90% of Naruto filler was straight trash

And are adapting canon light novels and side content as "filler", while on the other hand the One Piece anime staff refuses to adapt cover stories.

There was a Cover Story where he helped Wadatsume or whatever his name is, the giant Fishman

So he helped a town and they gave him a Poneglyph

But it was just a normal one
