Square did say they aren't going full exclusive on next gen immediately

So probably releases on both consoles

I mean isn't that game pretty old now so even if it was a sales thing it's past that now

I personally genuinely don't mind exclusivity. I fully believe it's a good and healthy thing to keep as a competition between the brands. But that's not to say they should* stay exclusive forever. Horizon has been out for 3 years and has been been doing *amazing sales wise and sold everything it can on the PS4. Now they are putting it on PC and double dipping, while also promoting the inevitable sequel and PS5 in one go.

If this becomes the norm, then the only thing I am afraid of Sony being stricter on their developers on how they make the games

It technically is, but also not really

It made it's own exclusives on a bunch of different consoles

And then collected them all into one collection bit by bit

Assassins Creed as an example is more of a multiplatform franchise

And let's be real here, Square barely gave a shit about KH on Xbox and you can see it well
