Well my sister got a little more concerned because she realised she often suffers pretty badly from lung related illnesses, any time she gets a cough it often turns into a chest infection, and she'll cough for a long time. Not that she's worried it'll kill her or anything but just the reaction to it her body might have

Yeah that's definitely a worry

Not to make you more worried, but it can cause lung scarring if it's severe enough
