Well Joshua, if you know me, I prefer characters over hard plot

because that's all crossbell is

it's funny because crossbell has a far smaller cast

but they barely ever do anything interesting, compelling or engaging with them

whereas the Cold Steel cast is far larger, but is given far more focus into their pasts and motivations

cold steels' combat is also stream lined

which you may or may not like

they change up the quartz system

like, you know how in sky, the arts and everything you get are dependent on the value of the quartz

in cs that isn't the case

what is also nice is that monsters drop something called Sepith Mass, which is just money

so money is not really a huge concern either
