baton pass and technical damage are now core combat mechanics instead of being sidelined

if you properly use them together you can deal thousands and thousands of damage

Technical damage is a big deal in this ye

the new baton pass + will seed mechanics + huge technical damage plays removes the need to instantly buy SP Adhesive 3

and the huge buff to equipment by putting skills on them further incentivizes you to use real equipment

and lets you add extra skills to party members

allows new formation options

Yeah. And if you buy sp adhesives on top of that makes sp a non worry

sp is a non worry without adhesives if you take advantage of everything

adhesive just gives you a way to bail yourself out if you aren't playing as efficiently

It is I'm sure. I just ran out quick without them since will seeds don't give too much

The Okumura boss is the only fight I've disliked so far because it reminded me way too much of an SMT boss. But other than that, all of the changed bosses have been great

Also a lot more lines have been voiced

Like a fair amount of those scenes where you're by the train are voiced now.

i was glad they improved the bosses, because i personally thought the original p5 bosses were very boring

P5 vanilla bosses were almost entirely just damage sponges with some special animations to make it look like there is a "unique mechanic"

I like Persona more than SMT primarily due to its characters. The bosses implement them pretty well in this

Like for instance, Kamoshida summons a cognitive version of Shiho during his boss fight

Okumura as well, for as much as I disliked the fight does something similar

Fights added a lot more than just battle mechanics. There's a lot more character and dialogue in them

With that stupid plot with Morgana leaving
