Ultimately it's really annoying when a community makes it really hard for newcomers to enter a series

KH directly doesnt have that but indirectly does, bullet hell and fighters directly have this and it's really sad

cause it deters a person away from an entire genre of game

Like I naturally direct people to pick up with kh1 first for many obvious reasons

Do not try and do what speedrunners or perfectionists do with bosses

Just enjoy the games first, and work your way up

I think one that I’m growing to see as a new reason for is so that people can enjoy the progression of the series and not get deterred from going backwards

those people have invested more time than you can imagine into something like that and such

and yeah totally!

the last thing we want is for unneeded hate for an older game simply because it doesn't contain the QoL from newer games

Like I really truly enjoyed my time with KH1

It was honestly a certain type of experience that I haven’t had in such a long time, where I just kinda wish it never ended

Kh1 is really cool in that way

whenever I suggest people to play kh I just tell them play all of pre-bbs first and then move on to bbs

So long as they have fun. that's what matters to me the most
