technically sonic 06 is a reboot

it was planned to be anyway

and it wanted to remake the sonic series

can you imagine a timeline where every sonic game following 06 was a sequel to it

thank goodness that games development wasnt sucessful, otherwise wed have realistic humans in every sonic game
