@Aqua_Wren I just completed the level 30 arcanist guild quest, and the guildmaster doesn't have a red exclamation point so is that whole questline done :bizHmm:

Yeah, arcanist is a base class so it only goes to 30 for story, once you get far enough in the MSQ you'll be able to go back to the arcanists guild and pick up the summoner and/or scholar quest series that starts at level 30 and goes to 50.

And then there's a 50-60 for each of those jobs, 60-70, and then at 70 there are "role quests" on the Shadowbringers expansion. @Orpheus Joshua

Note that arcanist is the only base class that goes into two jobs.

Every other class just transitions to a single job.

Gladiator > Paladin
Marauder > Warrior
Archer > Bard
Lancer > Dragoon
Conjurer > White Mage
Pugulist > Monk

Yeah it's the base class for the White Mage job.

thaumaturge is the base class for Black Mage.

Some jobs, the ones that came out with expansions, have no base class, they just start off as the job.

Red Mage, Samurai, Dark Knight, Astrologian, Dancer, Gunbreaker.

Which start at levels 50, 50, 30, 30, 60, and 60 respectively.

The 30 ones were released with HW, 50 with Stormblood, and 60 with Shadowbringers. Heh.

Experience is actually based on the base class, so summoner and scholar share and are the only jobs to do so lol.

Every other job is the only advancement of its class so it doesn't matter for them though.

But as a paladin you technically still gain "Gladiator Experience."
