I love Fire Emblem and I hear it's Fire Emblem / Persona so

reminds me more of cold steel than persona but yeah, same idea

I would say mgs5 also but I didn't pay for that that was a birthday gift gameplay-wise that was amazing but God story was garbage

fe 3 houses made me feel like garbage, and the fanbase for it is quite frightening

For me I don't take fanbase into account for anything with any series

also too dumb for that battle system which is kinda funny

cuz i understood echoes pretty well, but 3 houses is way beyond my depth

i try not to equate fanbases with games and such but it's really hard for me

cuz whenever i play something, my immediate thoughts tend to go to people I've interacted with regarding the game

i did that once

ended up hangin around losers at kh13

Also I think the way I take reviews as a little different to I only watch reviews for games that I know I played and loved and want to hear people's take on them be a positive or negative

it's partially why I can't play fire emblem, and almost entirely why I can't play any smt games

if I didn't get into Trails when the first game got localized

there is no way in hell I would have gotten into it nowadays

smt and fire emblem fanbases are pretty awful, but the trails and falcom fanbase at large is almost psychotic and incredibly disrespectful while also lacking empathy

the worst human beings I've interacted with

I find that a lot of groups can be pretty awful just going any game FAQ

the general threads you find on gamefaqs just tend to comprise of people lacking common sense and common courtesy

not really anybody consequential at all

in my experience, twitter and discord are where the worst of the worst reside in regards to bigger groups

The worst I ever saw personally was in this voice chat in a Discord and somebody was saying how they didn't like wow they like 14 more and he got extremely mad he yelling like I played wow for 10 years and you're going to talk fing shit about it and then he left the server

it's interesting

because those types of people that tend to interact online tend to be rather charismatic and attract large followings

but their actual character is pretty worthless

The biggest thing I notice is people tend to become incredibly tribal they have their things they like and their group and if you go against that they are going to attack

I think that extends to Beyond fandoms as well people for some reason or just incredibly tribal about anything

yeah definitley beyond fandoms

I'm sure we are probably guilty of it at some points even it's like a human trait
