yeah im lowkey getting kinda bored with my job right now
a handful of weeks where I feel like what im doing doesn't do a whole lot/one week i feel like i know what im doing then the very next day im back at square 0

What do you do for a job?

and the work at home has left me finding it hard to keep up with all the crap that is happening on this project

i am a software dev but my project is working with a 3rd party vendor app to convert $600B of Vanguard's accounting system to a new standard

but the way it is organized just ughhhh

so im gonna keep coding/taking courses to keep my skills up so when i change teams next year i wont be too far behind

and hopefully something i learn here can make my day to day more fun

I still like what i do and i do like the project

the team itself is great

but the organization of it and the paperwork just

I've never done any software development but converting something that was done by another team seems hard, especially if it wasn't done correctly or if it's not well organized

and each week we talk about fixing the disorganization

but the issue is that it just ends up either adding more paperwork or we dont have the time to put the changes into effect

along with people going back to their bad habits anyway

myself included. i wont say im the pure angel here
