And it's not like the manga was just that, even at the beginning

Even before the

, Asa had the courage to give Ishigami an entire story arc of his own

 

And things also change up with the introduction of Iino

 

I didn't like her....

I love Iino

I want her to yell at me

I found her so stuck up and not the fun kind

To me she's all the fun

Because of how easily she gets flustered

And how she has that vibe of being someone who constantly tries to constrain what she perceives as wrong while she secretly wants to try it out

The doujin also made a joke out of her being stuck in a physically abusive marriage so who knows what the hell is even happening with her under the hood

 

The official doujin is firetrucking weird man

It is so odd

The first five chapters are just... what

Before it was official they had the ditzy girl be with a goddamn kid

And they hired that person

But thankfully it gets slightly better later and plays to its strength of being a gateway to what if stories

That decision still baffles me

That Iino bit still haunts me in my dreams though

I guess that works but it's still weird they let that slide

Asa's new series is interesting tho
