any kind of build works but magic is the most optimal in this game people kind of don't like it because it's the easiest game in the series at least it was until it's the direct sequal which was easier one of the biggest easier changes is that you get 5 stat ups for leveling up

It starts out pretty difficult like traditional smt but after does the tutorial dungeon it eases off a lot

I mean it will still kick your teeth in but it goes down a notch

And because I know everybody is dying to know I am eating a Caesar salad it's delicious

I mean make no mistake it's still going to be quite difficult especially for a newcomer to the series you probably won't notice it as much maybe but your so-called hardcore smt players one of the biggest ease ease of difficulty is the fact that dying can be paid off and in its sequel dying resets you to the last loading zone

And main character death in battle doesn't equal game over

i just want it to feel fun and not stupidly difficult

which with smt i haven't not experienced yet

Honestly I think you're looking at the wrong series if that's not what you're going for

Because the brutally difficult and what S&T is known and loved for

i want to see how 4 is since I hear it's not that difficult compared to what i've played

but if it feels as bullshit as devil survivor, nocturne, etc, then this series is really not meant for me

Yeah because that stuff is what people go to smt for

Persona is a lot easier definitely

and i'm never able to grasp the mechanics so that's a me problem

if you didn't tell me that magic was broken in this i would not have ever known

random but how do you feel about time travel stories that has nothing to do with what we're talking about

You play Digital Devil Saga yeah I think that's one of the easier games as well

I haven't played them though so I don't know

but not enough to form a proper opinion

felt a lot like Persona

though it didn't explain its combat well
