Late to the party on this (I’ve been very busy), but the PS5 presentation was decent, I thought. No reason for me to buy one at launch though. I kinda want to wait for a bigger hard drive version because isn’t the ps5 ssd like 800GB?

Well, games are getting bigger and bigger. I mean... FF7 Remake was over 100 gigs. That’s becoming a trend, lately. If you only play AAA games, you’ll probably have room for 8 at the very most. And apparently the PS5 SSD is unique, from what I’ve heard? Like, games are being designed around the speed of the drive in mind? I’m not super savvy on the details, but that’s what my simple mind got from skimming through all the details.

I heard you can probably use like an external hdd for backwards compatible games, at least, but ps5 games probably wouldn’t function on a regular external drive.

If you want better graphical games then Series X would be the better option

As far as I know only rumors that they are considering it, dont remember if they outright confirmed it.
