In fact, everyone's EP seems to have dropped somewhat

I could understand that design choice if late game Arts weren't so expensive

The reason for that is beacuse if you play the game on a normal difficulty, Arts were pretty overpowered

In sc they nerfed it a lot

Arts are still kind of OP even now

The trade off is the lower EP I suppose

Though that gets slightly unbalanced when you get to a boss with high Arts resistance

It's funny since Falcom is never able to balance Crafts and Arts. In cold steel, crafts are as OP as arts are in sky

I guess it is hard to balance a combat system like this

To be fair they at least kinda try. Cold steel 3 changes combat a lot

But even then, 3 and 4 are probably the easiest in the series

I think I'm definitely playing CS3 and CS4 in the highest difficulty possible

Not to say cold steel 3 nightmare isn't hard. Those final fights suck dick. But the game is a breeze compared to sky nightmare it's nothing

Crossbell is probably the most balanced? But even then it has those issues I mentioned

The party attacks that nuke the screen randomly

And some stupidly overpowered shit like a party member having a cheap craft that blinds everything

But compared to sky and cold steel, crossbell isn't as nightmarish or easy

Elie is the shitiest party member
