Not gonna lie, I forgot who he was entirely

Oh yeah, let me say something positive

 

There was an optional bracer quest in Bose where someone gave you a photo of their niece, who disappeared and was thought dead 10 years ago but was recently said to be living there. So they ask you to walk all around the city to find out who that person is, and you eventually discover that that's Lila, Mayor Maybelle's personal maid.

 

Ah yeahhh

That quest is pog

 

And it's become one of my favorite quests in the series because it's not only a genuine surprise but it also adds depth to a character that is basically a gag and ultimately ignored. I wish the game had more of those kind of quests.

My main issue with sky sc actually

Is that the finale in particular drags really bad. You'll see

Oh god, spare me from that

Like, this game feels like it needed double the game time of FC in order to accomplish just as much as that game did

 

And revisiting the same areas as FC got really tiring after a while, only, like, 3% of the game has been new areas and new monsters.

 

That's how all the second games of the arcs are, for better or worse. I don't really mind it but i can see how that could be a turnoff

 

Well, if there was a bigger ratio of new areas, it wouldn't be as bad.

 

Crossbell 2, cold steel 2 and 4 take the areas from their respective prior game too

I think cs does it far better personally due to how it's done

Like the way you traverse and get everywhere in sky sc feels a bit aimless. There's a goal but rarely anything immediate pertaining to estelle's goal
