I like it, it's an interesting direction, things just got way more serious, the pressure is greater than ever,

Aino's life being on the line will push Sasaki to improve by leaps and bounds, and I think by "beating Aino", the person from the future meant for Sasaki to create a White Knight manga that's better than the one Aino created in the original timeline. So yeah, things are getting gooder

 

I feel like it's going the depression route

 

Trying to make a series better than hers will make him go down a rabbit hole that's not good because now the whole pressure is on him saving her life while also making a story that's better than hers
