bruh, there's literally an entire in-game market scene in FFXIV,

That go from comestics, to meals, to actually good gear

HEY @Novayon that 2 million gold spider mount is what helped bump the economy up! they had to do that in order to justify allowing a higher gold cap

And the people who often profit are the oens who take up professions in FFXIV.. ?

especially gatherers

they make bank

the only gear you can buy with wow is only good for the first week of the expansion

and that is literally just to bump your ilvl up so you can do dungeons to get better gear

in wow you can buy pots, quest items, super old rare items, portable anvils etc

gold aint useless in wow

i will say i made a FORTUNE in BFA from gathering Herbs, because at least herbalism is constantly needed for pots and elixirs. since raiders need them all the time

hey if you like wow as it is atm. more power to you man! but this is a losing battle if you want to argue about MMO stuff. i have played almost every MMO out there.. i have played MMOs all my life. and i know the similarities and differences

and the only "good" MMOs out there is WoW and FF14

but MMOs are a dying genre

they are. i will agree with that statement! the reason i have played all of the MMOs is to try them out and TRY to find one better than wow

but that was before. WoW has really let itself go

and i can say if wow doesn't make a drastic change soon. FF is going to take that #1 spot
