Yeah and the issue is war is nuanced and they don't have the writing skills to pull it off and it doesn't work well in an MMO imo, they are better at big dramatic stuff and should keep to big bad silly villains because that's what they do best

they keep doing it because theyre too lazy to write in neutral factions
