It feels like less of an easy scheme the way he has to use his brain to strategize besting opponents that are tougher than him than just overpowering them w/ brute force and jumping in w/ minuscule strategy.

Like, he should have felt some kinda retribution for not being there

Him missing out on school work never really gets addressed, so doubtful it would be here or anywhere else

but.. going by that, he did then, like the party. and homecoming
